Wayne Riddles

A celebration honoring the life of Wayne Riddles, 48, of Abernathy, TX, were held at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 13, 2006, in the Abernathy First Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Lucas of Amarillo, TX, officiating. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mr. Riddles died at his home on Sunday afternoon, December 10, 2006. He was born in Wichita Falls, TX on February 22, 1958. He moved to Aberanthy in 1980 and married Linda Gail Rose on June 5, 1982 in Abernathy. He was a member of the Abernathy First Baptist Church, and was an active Cub Scout and Weblos leader when their son, Chris was younger. Wayne had been employed by Fed Ex for a number of years. He is survived by his wife, Linda Riddles of Abernathy, TX, their son, Chris Riddles and his fiance, Lacy Popejoy both of Amarillo, TX, his parents, Lloyd and Shirley Riddles of Guyman, OK, 2 brothers, Kevin Riddles of Wolfforth, TX, and Corey Riddles of Spiro, OK and a sister, Renea Rippetoe of Moriarity, NM.
