Wayne Arthur

Graveside services for Wayne Arthur, 87, of Abernathy, TX, were held at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 21, 2006, in the Abernathy Cemetery with Rev. Ken Horn officiating. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mr. Arthur died at his home Sunday morning, November 19, 2006. He was born August 20, 1919 in Lamar, OK to Wesley and Mamie (Camp) Arthur. He married Verda Sindelar on July 4, 1945 in Holdenville, OK. He moved to Abernathy from Lubbock, TX in 1950. He is survived by his wife, Verda Arthur of Abernathy, TX, 2 sons, Jerry Arthur and his wife Linda of Morton, TX, and Gary Arthur and his wife Sherri of Lubbock, TX, 2 daughters, Sandra Causbie and her husband David of Bedford, TX, and Joyce Conn and her husband James of Sudan, TX., a sister, Irene Collier of Houston, TX, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
