Services for Vonda Nadine Joseph,73, of Abernathy, TX, were held at 10:00 am Saturday, May 16, 2009, in the First Assembly of God Church, Abernathy, TX with Rev. Judy Wooten, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in the Strip/Pearce Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Ms. Joseph died Wednesday, May 13, 2009, in Denton, TX. She was born September 9, 1935 in Abernathy, TX, and had been a lifelong Abernathy resident. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Abernathy. She is survived by 3 sons, Michael and Velda Young of San Antonio, TX, Bryan and Donna Young of Denton, TX and Stancy Felicia Joseph of Tuscon, AZ, 1 sister, Donna J. Young of Abernathy, TX, 14 grandchildren, Michael Lee, Trina, William, Jammie, Bryan, Johnathon, Diana, Amanda, Dustin, David Jennifer, Christopher, Justin and Michael K. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, Ryan, William, "Moe", Layla, Johnathon, Joseph, Zoe, Nicholas, Emma, Jada and Landen.
