Graveside services for Vidal Trevino, Sr., 83, of Sun City, CA, will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 19, 2025 in the Abernathy Cemetery. The family will have a visitation from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Abell Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Mr. Trevino died of heart failure Thursday, September 4, 2025, at his home in Sun City, CA. He was born in Sinton, TX on April 28, 1942. He was a retired warehouse production worker for Frito Lay in Texas and Colorado. He loved to travel and loved his family. When not traveling he would spend time with family as his favorite pastimes. He is preceded in death by his parents Porfirio Trevino, Sr. and Felipa Gatica, and his sons, Vidal Jr., Jesus Angel and Edward, 3 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and a sister Emna Sanchez. Mr. Trevino is survived by his wife Graciela of Sun City, CA, 6 daughters, Emma Linda Pastrano of Schertz, TX, Irene Flores of Omaha NE, Angie Herrera of Colorado Springs CO, Anna Maria Acosta of Omaha NE, Jessica Ramirez of Colorado Springs, CO and Ester Waddups of Corpus Christi, TX. he is also survived by his 25 grandchildren, 53 great- grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, 5 sisters, Elida, Janie, Mary, Esther and Senaida and 2 brothers, Vicente and Porfirio, Jr. Pallbearers will be Andrew Pastrano, Matthew Trevino, Sergio Trevino, Steven Alvira, James Alvira and Martin Ramirez.
