Victor Alan Dees

Victor Alan Dees, 58, died at his home Monday, June 7, 2021. Victor was born May 6, 1963 in Abernathy, TX and was raised by his parents Iver L. and Betty May (McGaugh) Johnson in Abernathy where he graduated Abernathy High School in 1981. He married Kimberly Lynn McClement, September 12, 1988 in Lubbock, TX. Victor was a construction foreman for Henley Interiors and loved to fish, hunt and play golf. He was preceded in death by his father, Iver L. Johnson, August 5, 1991, his wife Kimberly Lynn Dees, December 30, 2004, and 2 sisters, Valerie Cross, November 22, 2008 and Lane Trusler, January 6, 2021. He is survived by his daughter, Meagan Dees Jackson and husband Stephen, a son, Joshua Scott McClement and wife Ratonia, mother Betty Johnson, brother, Jerry Dees and wife Marci, 4 grandchildren, Kolby, Gavin, Rilah and Mackenzie. Graveside services will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation and services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX.
