Services for Una Mae Davis, 88, longtime resident of Hale Center, TX were held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 7, 2011 in the First Baptist Church in Hale Center with Dr. Carrol Green officiating . Burial followed in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview, TX under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Davis died February 2, 2011 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born September 16, 1922 in Callahan County, TX. She married Arvil W. Davis, he died on December 14, 1993 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hale Center. She is survived by 2 sons, Arvil and his wife Donna Davis and Ron and his wife, Nancy Davis, both of Lubbock, TX; a daughter, Deborah Roller of Wolfforth, TX; a sister Jean Johnson of Ft. Worth, TX; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
