Tyler Wilson Services for Tyler Wilson, 18, of Abernathy, were held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, August 28, 2001, in the Abernathy First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Wilcox officiating. Burial followed services in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Tyler died Saturday morning, August 25, 2001, in Hale County, Tx. He was born August 31, 1982 in Lubbock. He was a 2001 graduate of Abernathy High School and was involved in all sports. Tyler was named All State Baseball Player at Abernathy High School and made the State Coach's Association, 2-A High School Baseball First Team. He was listed among the Who's Who of American High School Students for the past 2 years. He is survived by his parents, Chris & Tracy Wilson of Abernathy, Tx., 1 Sister, Ashton Wilson of Abernathy, Tx., Grandparents, Carroll & Karen Bradley of Abernathy, Tx., and Alma Wilson of Lubbock, Tx., Great Grandmother, Jean Struve of Abernathy, Tx.
