Memorial services for Tina Marie Perkins, 65 of Abernathy, TX will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 20th, 2024, at the Northside Baptist Church with Robert Smith and Rev. Joel Perez, pastor, officiating. Cremation services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Perkins died December 29, 2023 in Lubbock, TX Ernestine "Tina" Marie Perkins was born February 22, 1958 to Ernest and Letha Marie (Brown) Smith in Abernathy. Tina attended school in New Deal and Abernathy. She lived in Granbury, TX, Illinois, and Hobbs, NM before moving back to Abernathy. Tina enjoyed collecting anything that pertained to hummingbirds. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Tina is preceded in death by her son Jesse Perkins, father Ernest Arnold Smith, and a brother Jeffery Smith. She is survived by her two sons, Jason and Chris Perkins, mother, Letha Smith, 6 grandchildren, Sean Perkins, Jason Perkins, Jr., Jade Perkins, Kelsey Perkins, Alexis Perkins and Jesse James Perkins, 2 great grandsons, Elijah Perkins and Lucas Friedheim siblings, Kathy Overstreet and husband Charles, Robert Smith, 1 nephew, Stephen Tull, and a niece, Amber Tull.
