Thelma Clark

Services for Thelma Clark, 90, of Hale Center, TX, were held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 29, 2004, in the Hale Center Church of Christ with Jason Freed officiating. Burial followed services in the Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center. Mrs. Clark died Wednesday, October 27, 2004, in Plainview, TX. She was born November 24, 1913 in Breckenridge, TX. She moved to Hale Center in 1925, graduated from Hale Center High School in 1933 and married John C. Clark, May 19, 1934 in Amarillo, TX. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was a member of the Church of Christ and the Hale Center Senior Citizens. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Delma Harper and a sister Ola Moore. She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Nell Wardlaw of Belen, NM, a sister, Ona Terrell of Amarillo, TX, 2 granddaughters, Donna Wardlaw and Corie Crawford, and 4 great grandchildren.
