Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Ms. Chambers died Friday, August 27, 2004, in Lubbock, TX. She was born March 26, 1956 in Muncie, Indiana. She was a longtime resident of Abernathy, TX, moving from Indiana. She is survived by 2 sons, Ezra Chambers and his wife Jenci of Lubbock, TX, and Uriah Chambers of Abernathy, TX, her Mother, Barbara Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana, Grandmother, Opal Edminister of Muncie, Indiana, a brother, Larry Edminster of Orlando, Florida, a sister, Kelli Beretta of Indianapolis, Indiana and 3 grandchildren, Chance, Chanie and Charlee Chambers all of Lubbock, TX.
