Rosary for Steven Saucedo, 43, of Abernathy, TX, were recited at 7:30 pm Thursday, August 30, 2007, in St. Isidore Catholic Church. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 11:00 am Friday, August 31, 2007, also in St. Isidore Catholic Church. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Steven was born March 18, 1964 in Abernathy, TX to Urbano Saucedo and Julie Saucedo. He had lived in Amarillo, TX and Abernathy all of his life. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lupe Guillen, February 25, 1994 and a brother, Randy Saucedo on January 10, 1997. He is survived by his Mother, Julie Saucedo of Abernathy, TX, his Father, Urbano Saucedo of San Antonio, TX, a daughter, Sessalee Lopez Saucedo of Lubbock, TX, one son, Steven Cole Saucedo Lopez also of Lubbock, TX, a step-daughter, Sadee Lopez of Lubbock, 2 sisters, Angela Saucedo Howard of Lubbock and Elsie Saucedo of Abernathy, his paternal grandmother, Otilia Saucedo of Amarillo, TX, and "his love", Regina Lopez of Lubbock, TX.
