Stacy was born on January 17, 1969, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Johnny Edward Barker, Jr. and Lynne Ann (Rick) Barker. Her life was a testament to love, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to her family.

She graduated from Manzano High School in 1987, where she excelled as a member of the varsity softball team. That team earned a place on the All-State Softball Team, and Stacy was recognized as the Outstanding Catcher during the All-State game. While in high school, she was also a member of the Hispanic Honor Society and spoke fluent Spanish throughout her life.

May of 1994, Stacy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New Mexico State University and August of 2003 she completed the requirements to earn her Masters in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner. During her distinguished nursing career, she opened a cardiac catheterization lab in Plainview, Texas, and served patients in several communities throughout Texas and New Mexico. She later opened a wellness clinic in Roswell, New Mexico, and was a proud member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners Association. Although Stacy was blessed with a photographic memory, she could never seem to find her keys or her phone.

Stacy was the beloved wife of Gary Stone, with whom she shared 30 years of marriage marked by love, mutual support, and understanding. Together, they built a strong and devoted family, raising their children, Joshua, Jeremy, Jessica, and Jarrett. She warmly welcomed Tyler Wilbanks as her son-in-law, further enriching the family she treasured so deeply.

Nothing brought Stacy greater joy than her family, especially her grandchildren. She leaves behind cherished memories with Kealee Green and her husband, Kiel; Matthew DeAnda; Markus Stone; Mason Stone; Lorelei Wilbanks; and Levi Wilbanks. Her legacy continues through her beloved great-grandchild, Maxyn Green, whom she adored. Family was always at the center of Stacy's life, and she took tremendous pride in watching each new generation grow.

Stacy is survived by her husband, Gary Stone; her children, Joshua Stone Pennsylvania, Jeremy Stone and, Jessica Wilbanks and husband Tyler, all of Abernathy, and Jarrett Stone of Lubbock, TX; her grandchildren; her great-grandchild; her mother, Lynne Barker; her sister, Mary Jo Bandy; and her nephew, Patrick Ecton, his wife, Olivia, and their daughter, ZayAna.

She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Edward Barker, Jr., in September of 2015, whose memory she carried with her throughout her life.

Throughout her years, Stacy exemplified compassion, strength, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her thoughtful care for her family, her dedication to her profession, and her generous spirit defined her character. Those who knew Stacy will remember her as steadfast, nurturing, wise, and always willing to help others.

Stacy's legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
