Shirley Greenlee

Graveside services for Shirley M. Greenlee, 92, of Lubbock, TX, were held at 2:00 pm, Monday, March 5, 2012, in Memory Gardens, McAlester, OK with Rev. Mike O' Donnell, son-in-law, officiating. Cremation services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Greenlee died Wednesday, February 22, 2012, in Lubbock, TX. She was born July 11, 1919 in Winnsboro, TX. She married James Eulan Greenlee and they were together for 49 years prior to his death. She was past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star of McAlester, OK, and was past President of the McAlester Business and Professional Women's Club and was a 50 year member of the McAlester First Baptist Church. She volunteered at the McAlester Regional Hopsital Auxillary, logging 13,282 volunteer hours, which was recognized by the Governor of Oklahoma. She moved to Abernathy, TX in 2006. She is survived by a son, Richard and Linda Greenlee of Melbourne, FL, daughter, Pam and Mike O'Donnell of Abernathy, TX, one sister, Mildred White of Abernathy, TX, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
