Sarah Graham

Services for Sarah Graham, 96, of Abernathy, TX, were held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 4, 2006, in the Abernathy Church of Christ with David Bennett Officiating. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Graham died Monday, October 2, 2006, at her residence. She was born December 10, 1909 in Hollis, OK and moved with her family in a covered wagon to Abernathy at age 10. She married Edgar O. Graham on Novmeber 2, 1929 in Lubbock and he preceded her in death May 23, 1994. She and her husband owned and operated Graham's Restaurant for many years in Abernathy. She was a Church of Christ. She is survived by 2 sons, Don Graham and Scott Graham both of Abernathy, TX, 6 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Abell Funeral Home
