Ruperto Ramos

Funeral Mass for Ruperto Ramos, 49, of Abernathy, TX, will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 25, 2017, in St. Isidore Catholic Church with Rev. Jacob Puthuparambil, officiating. Burial will follow in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy. Mr. Ramos died at his residence, Monday, January 23, 2017. He was born April 11, 1967 in Hale Center, TX to Jose E. and Magdalena (Salas) Ramos. He was a graduate of Abernathy High School in 1985, had lived in Lubbock before moving back to Abernathy. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jose E. Ramos, JR in 1979 and his Father, Jose E. Ramos, Sr in 1999. He is survived by his Mother, Magdalena Ramos of Abernathy, 4 children, Adam Ramos and David Ramos both of Abernathy, Joe Ramos and Roxanne Ramos both of Lubbock, TX, 4 brothers, Alonzo Ramos of Canyon, TX, Arnulfo Ramos and Hector Ramos both of Abernathy, and Anival “Jack” Ramos of Lubbock, TX and a sister Maria Murdock of Lubbock and 1 grandson, Dominic Ramos of Abernathy.
