Robert Pitts

Robert L. Pitts was born August 7, 1924 in Pike County, Ohio to Thomas and Lona (Jenkins) Pitts. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He married Violet Irene Tolner. They moved to Lubbock in 1988 from Clamoth Falls, Oregon. His wife, Violet Irene Pitts preceded him in death on October 17, 2011. He is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Moore and husband Jerry of Abernathy, TX, a son, Roger Pitts and his wife Dena of Sacramento, CA, 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Private burial will be held in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX.
