Robert Parker Jr

Robert Escar Parker, Jr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 29, 2007. He was born on August 12, 1916 to R.E. Parker, Sr., and Ruth Holcomb Parker in Roby, TX. He was a graduate of Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX, was at Lowry Air Force Base during the war, worked as a teacher, farmer, cotton ginner and land appraiser. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Patsy Beth, and his granddaughter, Tiffany Hubby. He is survived by 3 daughters, 10 grandchildren, and soon to be 14 great-grandchildren. Escar will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, a true friend, and a gentle man. Memorials to the MS Society will be greatly appreciated by the family. Services were held at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 1st 2007 in the Hale Center Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center, TX Abell Funeral Home
