ROBERT LEE "BOB" ARMSTRONG LUBBOCK, TX Services for Robert Lee "Bob" Armstrong, 63, of Lubbock, TX, were held at 10:00 am Saturday, Mar. 27, 2010, in the Genesis Baptist Church, Lubbock, with Rev. Roger Garrett officiating. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Bob died Tuesday, March 23, 2010, in Albuquerque, NM. He was born October 27, 1946 at Marshall, TX and graduated from Lubbock High School in 1965. He served in the US Marine Corps for 10 years, part of which was in Vietnam. He was employed as a truck driver and was an avid bowler. He was preceded in death by his Father, Albert Armstrong and a brother Edwin. He is survived by 3 children, Kimberly Armstrong, Jennifer Springer and Kristopher Armstrong, Mother, Irene Brantley, 3 brothers, Roy and Daryl Armstrong and Leslie Thompson and 5 grandchildren.
