Raymon Nicholson

Graveside services for Raymon B. Nicholson, 63, of Ransom Canyon were held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 30, 2007, in the Hale Center Cemetery, Hale Center, TX. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home in Hale Center, TX. Mr. Nicholson died May 25, 2007 at his home in Ransom Canyon. He was born May 29, 1943 in Crosbyton, TX and married Elizabeth Imogene Payne on June 13, 1963 in Cotton Center, TX. She preceded him in death on September 1, 2006. He was employed with Paige Electric Company for 16 years. His donations and contributions with Paige Electric were instrumental in saving the lives of the Pennsylvania coal miners. Survivors include a daughter, Alisa and her husband John Ceniceros of Ransom Canyon, TX, a granddaughter, Leah Nicholson of Ransom Canyon, TX a brother, Byron Nicholson of Lubbock, TX, and cousins, Sallie Jo Scott, Dean Lawler, Jack Kirby and Annette Kirby. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Hospice of Lubbock Poker Run. Abell Funeral Home
