Randy Evans

Graveside services for Randy Joe Evans, 62, of Crosbyton, TX, were held at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 22, 2009, in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mr. Evans died at his home in Crosbyton, Wednesday, March 18, 2009. He was born in Abernathy, TX, January 15, 1947 to M. D. "Coot" and Beth Stephens Evans. He farmed and ranched most of his life, and lived in La Juanta, CO where he got his associates degree in Computer Science and had lived in Crosbyton for the past 4 years. He was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Escue in 2008 and a brother, Charles Evans in 2003. He is survived by his parents, M. D. "Coot" and Beth Evans of Abernathy, TX, a son, Dan Evans of Ira, TX and a daughter, Toni Ervin of Gorman, TX and 3 grandchildren, Brady and Jodi Evans of Ira, TX and Jacob Ervin of Gorman.
