Pollyanna Heath

Sevices for Pollyanna Heath, 86, of Hale Center, TX were held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 in the First United Methodist Church of Hale Center with the Rev. Jimmy Cameron officiating. Burial followed in the Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center, TX. She died Monday, December 24, 2007. "Polly" was born July 27, 1921, in Waco. She graduated from Hereford High School and attended Wayland Baptist University. She married Harold H Heath on Nov. 5, 1944, in Pampa and resided in Oklahoma City. They moved to Hale Center in 1959 where they owned and operated Mayfield Spraying Service until retiring. She was a member of Lemond Lodge No. 832, Order of Eastern Star Plainview Chapter, and First United Methodist Church of Hale Center. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Edward C. "Rocky" Heath. Survivors include three daughters, Kay Fairrel of Weatherford and Jana Kuss and Gail North, both of Lubbock; two sisters, Tino Short of Wildorado and Diann Dougherty of Tulia; and four grandchildren, Krista, Justin, Jordan and Reagan.
