Paul Ponciano Jr

The family of Paul Ponciano, Jr., 41, of Lubbock, TX, received friends at Abell Funeral Home, Thursday, October 28, 2004. The Rosary was recited at St. Isidore Catholic Church at 8:00 pm Thursday, October 28, 2004. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:00 am Friday, October 29, 2004 in St. Isidore Catholic Church with Rev. Rene Perez officiating. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mr. Ponciano died Monday, October 24, 2004, in Lubbock. He was born August 26, 1963, in Abernathy, TX, to Pablo and Lupe G. Ponciano. He had been a resident of Abernathy until moving to Lubbock in 1972 and graduated from Lubbock High School in 1981. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Guadalupe Guillan, February 25, 1994. His survivors include his paternal grandmother, Paula Ponciano of McAllen, TX, parents, Pablo and Lupe G. Ponciano, Sr. of Lubbock, TX, 4 sisters, Suzanne Valenzuela of Victoria, TX, Gina Dunlop of Ft. Campbell, KY, Michele Doggett and Cristal Ponciano both of Lubbock, TX, 4 nephews, 8 nieces and 1 great niece. Abell Funeral Home
