Patricia Wilson Bridgers

Services for Patricia (Wilson) Bridgers, 68, of Lubbock, TX will be held at 10:00 am Monday, September 12, 2022, in the Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Perez officiating. Burial will follow in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. The family will gather to receive friends Sunday, September 11, 2022, from 5:00pm until 6:00pm at Abell Funeral Home. Mrs. Bridgers died September 7, 2022 in Abilene, TX. Patricia was born April 1, 1954 in Lubbock, TX to Earnest and Alma (Chastain) Wilson. She married Richard "Ricky" Bridgers August 27, 1987 in Abernathy. Pat enjoyed her job of being a caregiver, especially getting to work with children and the elderly. She was a great cook and liked getting to bake when the grandkids were around. Pat loved to joke around and have fun. She loved spending time with family playing board games and cards. Patricia is preceded in Death by her son Michael Shane Wilson and a brother E.J. Wilson. She is survived by her husband Ricky Bridgers of Lubbock,a daughter Kara Coats of Quanah, TX, 6 grandchildren Andrew, Kyrsten, Paige, Alli, Ryan, and Landon, 2 great grandchildren, brothers Earl Wilson, Chris Wilson and wife Tracy all of Abernathy, and Chuck Wilson of Lubbock, and sisters Virginia Cooley of Springtown, TX, Brenda Gentry and husband Kevin of Snyder, TX.
