Graveside services for Olga Ellen Todd Nicholson, 83, of Hale Center, TX, were held at 10:00 am Thursday, November 11, 2010 in the Hale Center Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Cameron, pastor of First United Methodist Church officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Nicholson died Monday, November 8, 2010 in Plainview, TX. She was born November 26, 1926 In Welch, TX and graduated from Hale Center High School and Lippert Business College. She had worked as a receptionist for Hi-Plains Hospital for many years and was member of the Order of Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church in Hale Center. She married Cecil Nicholson, he preceded her in death on May 27, 1994. She is survived by 2 daughters; Pam Clark of Hale Center, TX and Phyllis and her husband, Tommy Overstreet of Abernathy, TX; 3 grandsons, Brian Clark of Fort Hood, TX, Tad Overstreet and K.C. of Shallowater, TX and Aaron and Jennie Clark of Amarillo, TX; 1 granddaughter, Rachel Overstreet of Lubbock, TX; 4 great grandsons, Tanner and Landon Clark of Crosbyton, TX, Caden Clark of Armarillo, TX and Brooks Overstreet of Shallowater, TX; 1 great granddaughter, Katy Overstreet from Shallowater, TX; 1 sister; Fern and her husband Don Roberts of Flower Mound, TX, 1 aunt, LaVerne Enger of Lubbock, TX. She was preceded in death by a brother Talmadge Todd. Abell Funeral Home
