Rosary for Olga Leon, 66. of Hale Center, TX, will be held at 7:00 pm Sunday, November 10, 2013, in St. Theresa's Catholic Church with Rev. John Smith, pastor, officiating. Funeral mass will be celebrated 2:00 pm, Monday, November 11, 2013, in the same church with the same officiant. Burial will follow in the Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Leon died Friday, November 8, 2013, in Plainview, TX. She was born June 27, 1947 in Mathis, TX to Simon and Eloisa Martinez. She married Valentin Leon October 1, 1966 in Hale Center. She was very active in St. Theresa's Catholic Church, serving as a member of the Guadalupanas and was a CCE Teacher. She loved flowers and was a strong faithful woman devoted to her family. She is survived by her husband, Val Leon of Hale Center, her father, Simon G. Martinez of Hale Center, 3 children, Debra Sanchez of Plainview, TX, Adrian Leon of Lubbock, TX and Jaime Leon of Hale Center, TX, 4 sisters, Anita Betancur, Irene Martinez, Belen Martinez and Minerva Martinez all of Hale Center, a brother, Richard Martinez of Boyd, TX and 8 grandchildren, Cynthia Sanchez-Vora, Alyssa Sanchez, Esperanza Morales, Ernest Morales, Ciera Leon, James Leon, Debra Jay Leon and Glorian Leon.
