Burial followed in Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Wilson died Sunday, November 6, 2010, in Lubbock, TX. She was born January 27, 1929 in Gonzales, TX. She married Tommie Lee Wilson on June 14, 1947 in Waco, TX. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Matador, TX and had worked as a nurse's aide at Hi-Plains Hospital and at Mrs. Cox Day Care in Plainview, TX. She is survived by her husband, Tommie Lee Wilson of Hale Center, TX; 1 son Charles Wilson of Lubbock, TX; 4 daughters, Billie Williams of Mesquite, TX, Georgia Wall of Plainview, TX, Delores Roberts of Lubbock, TX andTommie Faye Penns of Amarilllo, TX; 2 sisters, Gladys Jackson of Itasca, TX and Norvilene Vaughn of Owasso, OK; 48 grandchildren, 82 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded by a son Edward Lee Wilson. Abell Funeral Home
