Services for Odell Rasco, 65, of Abernathy, TX were held at 11:00 am Monday, August 25, 2003, in the Abernathy First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ron Kelley and Rev. Jerry Don Chessire officiating. Graveside services were held at 4:00 pm Monday, in Muleshoe Memorial Park in Muleshoe, TX. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mr. Rasco died Saturday, August 23, 2003, in Lubbock, TX. He was born in Crosby County, TX on October 7, 1937. He married Marcha Owen on August 15, 1955 in Lubbock, TX. They moved to Abernathy in 1990 from Lubbock and had raised their children and lived in Muleshoe for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the First United Methodist Church in Abernathy. Survivors; Wife, Marcha Rasco of Abernathy, TX 3 sons, Darrell Rasco of Lockney, TX, Wesley Rasco of Muleshoe, TX and Ricky Rasco of Lubbock, TX. 2 daughters, Sherrell Wheeler of Borger, TX and Glenda Mills of Abernathy, TX. 11 loving Grandchildren, Brady, Shani, Jenna, Krista, Breanna and Rowdy Rasco.
