Naomi Brown

Services for Naomi Brown, 72, of Hale Center, TX, were held Thursday, November 18, 2010, at 2:00 pm in the Hale Center First Baptist Church with the Dr. Gene Meacham officiating and Dr. Carrol Green assisting. Burial followed in the Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Hale Center. Ms. Brown passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010. She was born on November 13, 1938 in Lubbock, TX, to Ernest and Dora (Pettit) Breedlove. She married Clifford Brown on June 14, 1957 in Lubbbok, TX. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1996. Mrs. Brown was a member of the First Baptist Church, Hale Center, and was instrumental in starting the Mission Hale Center. She stayed very active with the mission, and loved working with the people. Survivors include one son, Lee and wife Gale of San Angelo, TX. Two sisters, Mary Pauline Casey and her husband Billy George, and Ramona Moore all of Lubbock, TX. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Jared and his wife Lisa Brown of Woodrow, TX, Jason and his wife Chandra of San Angelo, TX and 3 great grandchildren, Dylan, Delaney and Rylan. She is preceded by one son Lynn Brown. The family suggests memorial contributions to your favorite charity. Abell Funeral Home
