Mickie Tant

Mickie Lou Tant, 62, of Abernathy, TX and formerly of Tuscon, Arizona, died at the home of her Mother, Nettie Young, May 26, 2006. Cremation was under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. She was born as Betty Lois Young, May 7, 1944 to William A. "Buck" Young and Nettie Gallagher, in Lubbock, TX. She was raised in Abernathy and had lived in Tuscon, AZ until moving back to Abernathy in January of 2006. A memorial service was held at the family home in Abernathy. She is survived by 2 sons, William Todd Tant of Colorado Springs, CO, Burton Lane Tant and Chris Allen Tant both of Tuscon, AZ, a daughter, Tina Rochelle Wilson of Paris, TX, her mother, Nettie Young of Abernathy, TX, 2 sisters, Donna Young and Nadine Joseph both of Abernathy. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Abell Funeral Home
