Services for Mathew Darrell Goodrich, 70, of Lubbock, TX, were held at 2:00 pm Friday, May 20, 2011, in the First Baptist Church, Abernathy, with Rev. Mike O'Donnell officiating. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Mr. Goodrich died Tuesday, May 17, 2011, in Lubbock, TX. He was born June 28, 1940 in Lamesa, TX. He married "Bonnie" Howard on February 20, 1959 in Abernathy. He is survived by his wife Bonnie Goodrich of Lubbock, TX, a daughter, Terri Ratcliff of Mesquite, TX, one son, Dr. Michael Darrell Goodrich and wife Laura of Dublin, VA and 2 grandsons, Jeremy and Nathan Ratcliff both of Mesquite, TX.
