Rosary for Mario Santiago "Geronimo" Flores, 50, was held Monday evening, August 18, 2008 at 7:00 pm at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Hale Center, TX. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the same church with Rev. John Smith officiating. Burial followed in Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center, TX. Mr. Flores died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He was born July 25, 1958 in Eagle Pass, TX and moved to Hale Center at the age of eleven and attended school there. He had been employed with Hale Center Co-op since he was thirteen. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Valentin Flores and a daughter, Diana Flores Garcia who died on March 5, 1999. He is survived by his wife Frances Flores; his mother, Sulema Flores, 2 sons, Mario and wife Araselly Flores and Geronimo Flores; one granddaughter, Diana Flores, a special niece, Precious Rosales, all of Hale Center; 7 brothers, Lupe Flores, Rogelio Flores, Valentin Flores, Raul Flores, Mike Flores, Oscar Flores and Alex Flores; 6 sisters, Sonia Garcia, Chavela "Isabel" Salas, Sara Jimenez, Josie Martinez, Zulema Rojas,and Angie Ozbirn Abell Funeral Home
