Services for Margie Morrison, 81, of Abernathy, TX were held Monday, September 20, 2004, in the Abernathy First Baptist Church with Rev. John Lowrie and Eric Swenson officiating. Graveside services were held at 3:00 pm Monday, September 20, 2004, in the Spur Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Morrison died Friday, September 17, 2004, in Lubbock, TX. She married Jesse Morrison and he preceded her in death in 1993. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, was past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and had been a member of the Bridge Club. She is survived by a son; Don Morrison and his wife Glenda of Paris, TX, a daughter, Karen Thomas and her husband Jim of Abernathy, TX, 2 sisters, 5 granddaughters, and 9 great grandchildren.
