Graveside services for Lois I. Campton, 90, of Ballinger, TX, were held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 31, 2007, in the Center Plains Cemetery in Cotton Center, TX. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Campton died Monday, October 29, 2007,in Ballinger, TX. She was born February 11, 1917 in Van Alstyne, TX and married Austin Clark Campton on September 19, 1936 in Roswell, NM. He preceded her in death on February 5, 1998. She moved to Ballinger in 1974 from Denver, CO. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Monther Lou and Addie Bell Whitfield, her husband and 10 brothers and sisters. Abell Funeral Home
