Mr. Smith died January 12, 2022 in Lubbock, TX. Lloyd was born January 13, 1960 in Seagraves, TX to James Ray and Avis Azel (Nail) Smith. He was raised in Springlake, TX where he graduated from Springlake Earth High School in 1978. Lloyd married Andrea Clark April 5, 2008 in Abernathy. The Smiths lived in Petersburg, TX for the past twelve years. Lloyd worked for Hurst (Thompson) Implement in Abernathy for many years, and most recently worked at Western Equipment in Plainview, TX and he was very meticulous at his job. He loved animals and enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing. Lloyd attended the Plainview First Assembly of God. He is preceded in death by his father James Ray Smith April 21, 2020 Lloyd is survived by his mother Avis Smith of Springlake, wife Andrea Smith of Petersburg, children Matthew Roach and wife Melody of Washington, Jonathan Roach of San Tan Valley, AZ, and Steven Roach of Snyder, TX, a brother Jimmy Smith and wife Alberta of Springlake, 2 sisters Ginger Carpenter and husband Lynn of Southlake, TX and Donna Clayton and husband Tommy of Springlake, and 2 grandchildren Abigail and Ryker Roach.
