Services for Lillian R. Smith, 77, of Hale Center, TX, were held Friday, July 18, 2003 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church with Rev. Bob O'Daniel, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Plainview, TX, under the direcion of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home, Hale Center, TX. Mrs. Smith died on July 15, 2003 in Plainview, TX. She was born on July 3, 1926 in Mustang, OK. She moved to Hale Center, TX from Davidson OK in 1939 and married O.E. "Mick" Smith on December 4, 11949 in Clovis N.M. He passed away in 1974. SShe was retired from the cafe business. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hale Center. Survivors include, 3 sons: Michael E. Smith and his wife Laura of Plainview, TX, Jack Smith and his wife Elizabeth and Fred E. Smith all of Hale Center, TX. 3 grandchildren: Letiesha Smith, Denny Price and Randy Price, 3 great grandchildren: Mitchell, Channing and Dalon Price.
