Liandro Balderas

Rosary for Liandro Samora Balderas, 81, of Hale Center, TX, will be recited at 7:00 pm Friday, January 29th, 2016, in St. Theresa's Catholic Church with Rev. John Smith, pastor, officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm Monday, February 1st, 2016, in the same church. Burial will follow in the Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX. Mr. Balderas died at his home in Hale Center, Thursday, January 28th, 2016. He was born February 27th, 1934 in Quitaque, TX to Jim and Sarah Balderas. He was a lifelong Hale Center resident and member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter; Sarah Balderas and 3 siblings, Amada Zamora, Liandra Benavidez and Martina Balera. He is survived by his wife; Virginia Martinez of Hale Center, 4 children; Danny Balderas and wife Dominga of Littlefield, TX, Frank Balderas and wife Yvonne, Lucille Balderas and Liandro Balderas, JR. and wife Veronica, all of Hale Center, 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren 7 brothers; Marcos, Frank, Juan, Luis, Bennito, Uracio and Martin Balderas and 2 sisters; Marta Angiano and Teresa Martinez.
