Graveside services for Lettie Tyson, 88, of Lubbock, TX, were held at 10:30 am Monday, July 31, 2006, in the Resthaven Cemetery, Lubbock, TX, with Rev. Jerry Huggins officiating. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Tyson died Thursday, July 27, 2006, in Lubbock, TX. She was born March 27, 1918 in Parker County, TX. She married Woodrow Tyson in Lubbock, and he preceded her in death in 1968. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Lubbock. She is survived by a son, Ronald Tyson and wife Karol of New Deal, TX, a brother, W. E. Rogers of Lubbock, TX, 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
