Graveside services for Kimberly Ann Tackett, 39, of Lubbock, TX, were held at 2:00 pm Friday, August 15, 2003, in the City of Lubbock Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Ms. Tackett died Tuesday, August 12, 2003, in Lubbock. She was born September 23, 1963 in Trenton, Michigan. She was raised in Michigan and had also lived in Kentucky, Virginia, Arizona, and since 2001, she has lived in Lubbock, Texas. She loved the art of tattooing. She is survived by; 1 son, James "Biscuit" Baker of Lubbock, TX, boyfriend, Pete "the love of her life" Brown of Lubbock, TX 2 brothers, Victor Tackett of Alaska and Glen Tackett of Arizona 2 sisters, Selma Rose of Tennessee and Linda Elliott of California.
