Joshua Annis Sherman

Memorial service for Joshua Annis Sherman, 30, of Lubbock, TX, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Perez officiating. Cremation services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Joshua died September 6, 2023, in Lubbock. He was born November 21, 1992 in Lubbock to Tammy (Annis) Sherman. Joshua was raised in Lubbock and graduated Monterrey High School in 2012. He loved spending time on his cell phone and his punching bag, and enjoyed listening to his police scanner. He was preceded in death by grandfathers James Annis in 2018 and Ron Sherman in 2022 and a brother Scotty Annis Sherman in 1990. Joshua is survived by his parents Tammy and Kelly Sherman of Abernathy, a sister Kyley Cervantes and husband Jerry of Lubbock, grandmothers, Dana Annis of Abernathy, Sherry Plummer of Lubbock, and Susan Sherman of Amarillo, TX and 2 aunts, Stacy Perry and husband Spencer and Stacy McAfee and husband Eddy all of Lubbock.
