Jesse Flores

Evening services for Jesse Flores, 75, of Abernathy, TX, were held at 7:00 pm Thursday, August 4, 2011, in the New Harvest Baptist Church in Abernathy, TX. Funeral services were held at 10:00 am Friday, August 5, 2011, in the same church. Officiating was by Rev. Ronnie Saldana, of Unity Praise Center in Lubbock, TX. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy. Mr. Flores died at his home in Abernathy, Wednesday morning, August 3, 2011. He was born in Jonah, TX, July 12, 1936 to Jose and Euralia (Fuentes) Flores. He married Rosario Jimenez on January 30, 1976 in San Fernando, Coah, Mexico. He was a longtime Hale County resident. He is survived by his wife Rosario Flores, 8 children, Jesse Flores, Jr., Joe Flores, Connie Frances Flores, Fernando Flores, James Flores, Jessica Flores, Albert Flores and Jeremy Flores, 1 brother, Octiviano Flores, 2 sisters, Adelfina Summa and Lily F.
