Jean Law

Services for Jean M. Law, 72, of Hale Center, TX, were held at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 8, 2003, in St. Teresa Catholic Church, Hale Center, with Rev. Reymundo Manriquez officiating. Burial followed in the Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center. Mrs. Law died on Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at her home in Hale Center. She was born on August 12, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA. She married Bud Law on December 2, 1952 in Safford, AZ. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1983. She was employed at Hi Plains Hospital until retiring in 1997. She was a member of Woodmen of the World where she also served as Treasurer. She had been a longtime member of St. Alice Catholic Church in Plainview, and most recently was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church in Hale Center. Survivors; 3 sons, Ronnie Law, and Phillip Law both of Hale Center, TX, and Ricky Law of Abilene, TX. 1 daughter, Dianne Emert of Floydada, TX. 1 Goddaughter, Shelda Rogers of Plainview, TX. 3 brothers, Donald Sebrosky of Pittsburgh, PA, Richard Sebrosky of Baltimore, MD, and Robert Sebrosky of Charlotte, NC. 10 grandchildren 1 great granddaughter The family suggests memorials be sent to Hospice Hands of West Texas, Box 1118, Lockney, TX 79241.
