Jackie Dyer

Graveside services for Jackie Dyer, 84, of Hale Center, TX were held at 10:00 am Saturday, March 17, 2007 in the Hale Center Cemetery with Dr. Carroll Green officiating. Burial arrangements were under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home. Mrs. Dyer died Wednesday, March 14, 2007 in Amarillo, TX. She was born November 6, 1922 in Arkansas. She lived in Waggoner, OK where she graduated from Waggoner College. She moved to Hale Center, TX in 1946 and married Wille Dyer on December 25, 1947 in Lubbock, TX. She and her husband owned and operated Dyer Drug. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Progressive Study Club and Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Dyer and a daughter, Neisha Dyer. She is survived by 2 sons: Lindol Dyer of Amarillo, TX and Tommy Dyer of Hale Center, TX, 2 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to any Hospice or the Hale Center Library. Abell Funeral Home
