Services for J. O. Bradshaw, 83, of Richardson, TX and formerly of Abernathy, TX, were held Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 11:00 am at the Church of Christ in Abernathy with David Bennett officiating. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mr. Bradshaw died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, in Richardson, TX. He was born December 8, 1921 in Matador, TX. He married Fay Dell Carothers, November 23, 1941 in Hollis, OK. She preceded him in death, September 4, 2004. He is survived by his children; Lynnea Greenhaw and her husband Danny of Forney, TX, and Wynett Stracener of Los Lunas, NM, 7 grandchildren, Terry Dowell, Cindy Sims, Kevin Stracener, Todd Stracener, Ryan Stracener, Dana McDonough and Jana Wallace, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
