Services for Iva Nell Wilson, 76, of Lubbock, TX, will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 18, 2016, in the Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Perez officiating. Burial will follow in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. The Wilson family will gather to receive friends at Abell Funeral Home, Wednesday, February 17th, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Mrs. Wilson died in Lubbock, February 14, 2016. She was born in Jones County, TX, August 4, 1939 to Claud Ramon and Mary B (Mitchell) Jones. Mrs. Wilson married EJ Wilson on June 1, 1956 in Acuff, TX. She was a talented seamstress who loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, EJ Wilson of Lubbock; 2 daughters, Judy Melvin and husband John of Lubbock, and Diane Gilbert and husband Bob of Lubbock; 3 sons, Danny Wilson and wife Judy of Lubbock, Kelly Wilson of Lubbock, and Terry Willson and wife Amy of Springtown, TX; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Joyce Ezell of Weatherford, TX, and Velda Baker of San Antonio, TX.
