Services for Isabell (Harral) Davis, 96, of Abernathy, TX, will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, September 7, 2013, in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Nunn officiating. Burial will follow in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Davis died Wednesday morning, September 4, 2013, in Lubbock, TX. She was born May 22, 1917 in Abernathy, TX where she was raised. She was a member of the Abernathy First United Methodist Church, joining July 24, 1927. She married Harold Vernon Davis on August 21, 1937 in Clovis, NM, and he preceded her in death October 26, 2005. She was a member of the Senior Citizens and was a homemaker. She was the youngest of 7 children, and has been preceded in death by her 6 older brothers. She is survived by her 2 sons, Harold G. Davis of Abernathy and Eddie C. Davis and wife Cynthia of Escondido, CA, one daughter, Dorothy Reeves of Abernathy, 9 grandchildren, 13, great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
