Services for Irene Carlisle, 60, of Idalou, TX, were held at 10:00 am Wednesday, June 18, 2008 in the Center Community Church. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the diretion of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mrs. Carlisle died Sunday, June 15, 2008, in Lubbock, TX. She was born January 4, 1948 to Bobbie Irene and Grady Preston Baze in Lubbock, TX. She married Wesley Carlisle, April 15, 1983 in Lubbock. She was a member of the Center Community Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Grady Preston Baze, who died November 1, 1996. She is survived by her husband, Wesley Carlisle of Idalou, TX, her mother, Bobbie Baze of Idalou, TX, 3 sons, James Hartless of Tennessee, Grady Carlisle and Frank Carlisle both of New Deal, TX, a daughter, Bobbie Ann Hartless of Abilene, TX, 2 brothers, Terry Baze of Idalou, TX and Cliff Baze of Higgins, TX, and several grandchildren.
