Iona Price

Iona (Wirth) Price was born December 10, 1917 in Pottsville, Arkansas to Albert and Bertha (Teeter) Wirth. She was a resident of Crow Mountain, Arkansas until 1946 when she moved to Lubbock. She was employed at Frito-Lay and after retiring began working for Pecan Ridge for several years. Services will be held at a later date in Crow Mountain, Arkansas. Cremation and services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. She died Saturday, September 29, 2012, in Lubbock, TX. She is preceded in death by a son, Lynn Price and his wife Carol, Parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her 7 children, Charles Price and wife Helen of Center, TX, Delbert Price and wife Lora of New Deal, TX, Glynn Price and wife Carolyn of Shallowater, TX, Wayne Price of Portales, NM, Dwayne Price and wife Judy of Charleston, West Virginis, GlenDean Henderson and husband Paul of Deer Park, TX and Joyce Ann Mallow and husband Jake of Arlington, TX, a sister Virgie Hipps of Arkansas, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
