Inez Gragg

Graveside services for Inez Gragg, 92, of Abernathy, TX were held at 4:00 pm Monday, October 25, 2010, in the Abernathy Cemetery with Rev. Mike O'Donnell. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Mrs Gragg died Friday, October 22, 2010, in Abernathy, TX. She was born October 14, 1918, in Lawn, Texas to Homer and Alice (Patterson) Allen. She married Jim Ned Gragg January 21, 1938 in Abilene, TX and moved to Abernathy that same year. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the TEL Class. She loved to crochet, can from the garden, play 42 and bridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Ned, November 15, 1996 and 3 brothers, Everett, Melbert and Homer Lee. She is survived by one son, Jimmy Gragg of Abernathy, TX, 2 grandchildren, Cindy Scruggs of Lubbock, TX and Roger Gragg of Dallas, TX, 3 great granddaughters, Kari and Casey Wilson, both of Lubbock, TX and Olivia Ortley-Gragg of Dallas, TX and a sister, Jonnie Mae of Washington.
