Inez M. Flores

Services for Inez M. Flores, 69, of Levelland, TX will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Abell Funeral Home in Abernathy, TX with Pastor Timothy Mendez officiating. Burial will follow in the Abernathy Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop. Mr. Flores died on February 15, 2023 in Levelland. He was born on January 18, 1954 to Juan and Rosa (Martinez) Flores in Taft, TX. They moved to Abernathy in mid 1960's, where he lived for many years then settled in Levelland. Mr. Flores loved horses, visiting the ocean, spending time with his friends and family and cracking jokes with them whom he loved so dearly. Mr. Flores is preceded in death by his wife, Selina Flores in 2004, son, Michael Angel Flores in 1985, siblings Ramiro Lara, Sr., Modesto M. Lara, Marcelino M. Lara, Guadalupe Garcia, Ubaldo "UB" Alvarado, Marcos Rodriguez, Sr. and Hilaria Lara Martinez. He is survived by his children Lisa Maria Gonzales and husband Humberto of Lubbock, TX, Aurelia Flores of Lubbock, Jessica Cortez of Waco, TX, and Jolene Lozano and husband Roy of Lubbock. Girlfriend Lita Contreras and her children Priscilla and husband Ricky Ibarra, Pilar and husband Steven Suarez, Adan Contreras Jr and wife Toni. Eleven grandchildren Nicole Flores and husband Samuel Flores, Nicholas Humberto Gonzales, Mercedes Rae Gonzales, Angelo Cruz Gonzales, Hayley Paredez, Avery Ibarra, Mia Contreras, Audrey Ibarra, Serenity Suarez, Ashlyn Contreras and Trinity Suarez. 3 great grandchildren Danae K. Flores, Kaylie D. Flores, and Raelyn Y. Flores, 3 brothers Juan "Johnny" Flores, Jr, Gilbert Flores, and Juan Flores, II, and 4 sisters Maria Dockery, Juanita Flores, Aurelia Martinez, Diana Flores Martinez and Connie Cruz.
