Graveside services for Harold Miller, 77, of Abernathy, TX were held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 9, 2007, in the Lorenzo Cemetery, Lorenzo, TX. Rev. George Carkeet officiated. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy, TX. Mr. Miller died at his home in Abernathy, Monday, November 5, 2007. He was born April 6, 1930 in Abernathy to Wesley Floyd Miller and Lila Wilmeth Miller. He was raised in Crosby County, TX where he farmed until moving to Abernathy in December of 1975. He married Audrey Inez Brooks on April 21, 1951 in New Mexico. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Miller a daughter, Lila Jerree Miller, both of Abernathy, 4 grandchildren, Wendy Lett, Erica Samples, Valerie Samples and Chancy Samples and his wife Michele all of Tuscaloosa, Ala. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, Joshua Samples, Kurstein Dailey, Kassidy Keith, Andrew Lett and Nicholas Cochran, a brother, Joe Bob Miller of Lake Texhoma, TX, 8 sisters, Catherine McCallister and Carol Miller both of Lubbock, TX, Carlene Harvey of Madill, OK, Judy Crowley and Peggy Sellers both of Ralls, TX, Shirley Smith of Acuff, TX, Tammy Miller of Smyer, TX and Lorie Miller of Houston, TX, and his step-mother, Frances Miller of Lorenzo, TX.
